I have tossed around the idea of starting a blog for quite awhile but wasn't sure if it was something I could fully commit too and be proud of at the same time. I love following other food bloggers for not only their wonderful recipes but also their insights on being moms. I threw around ideas of a blog name and wanted something that was true to my family and true to our region.
I am a lifelong Wisconsin girl, my favorite recipes and foods are simple and comforting - which touches on my midwestern upbringing. I am a true 'homer' in every aspect of a sports fan. So naturally, tying in Wisconsin's finest food title of being a "Cheesehead" which also captures the pride of being diehard sports fan.
I am going to slowly start adding my favorite recipes to the site and hopes to add some updates on our new family as well. Feel free to leave me feedback… but go easy on me - I'm just starting out!
